Long Range Planning Committee


The Long Range Planning Committee shall consist of six (6) members of the church, elected by the church at the October business meeting to serve for a period of three (3) years on a rotating basis. The person elected to the Long Range Planning Committee cannot exceed three (3) years, and must vacate the position one (1) year before serving again in that capacity.

The Long Range Planning Committee shall consider and discuss the plans and programs of the various organizations within the church and shall recommend such alterations, adjustments and/or additions to the church premises or programs that would improve the ministry and property of the church. This committee shall submit its recommendations to the Executive Council for evaluation and further action by the church and by boards, committees and organizations. The Long Range Planning Committee is responsible for setting goals to be completed within five years of church approval.

The Committee shall choose annually from among its members a Chairman.

The Committee chair shall be a member of the Executive Council and shall attend Executive Council meetings, or appoint a committee member to give their report.
